For them are the catacombs of Ptolemais, and the carven mausolea of the nightmare countries. They climb to the moonlit towers of ruined Rhine castles, and falter down black cobwebbed steps beneath the scattered stones of forgotten cities in Asia. The haunted wood and the desolate mountain are their shrines, and they linger around the sinister monoliths on uninhabited islands.

H. P. Lovecraft, The Picture in the House

Member Cultists

Dr. Dunkenstompf
Drums and percussion
Disserted on the thesis that frantically and incessantly hitting and kicking various inanimate objects will eventually open the gate for the Great Old Ones, who then will teach mankind new ways to hit and kick and revel and enjoy itself, and all the earth will flame with a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom.
Bastian Balthazar Boss
Bass
Believes heavy enough basslines will bring the player into an extradimensional realm of fantasy and horror. Will only play the bass between sundown and midnight in a school attic.
Sune and Cynthia Blippenlaut
Keyboards
The twin keyboardists spend very little time in the company of others and are rumoured to have an incestuous relationship.
Jan Algernon von Juntz
Vocals and guitars
Eccentric recluse about whom very little is known. Rumoured to dabble into forbidden ancestral tomes on unpronouncable cults.
Undine Unterwasser
Vocals
Spends most of her time wailing by the ocean, the watery depths of which, it is said, she will one day return to.
